Company History

Mimosil Technology Ltd was founded in 1996. It is based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in the UK. The Company specialises in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their application to software products.

Mimosil's core product is its Mentext AI technology. This Natural Language Processing technology uses advanced AI to analyse text based on meaning. Mentext version 1 was released in 2004, and version 2 is currently under development with an expected release date in the second half of 2006.

In 1996, Mimosil released the game Mah Jong, the traditional Chinese game with elements of Rummy, in which the player is pitted against 3 computer-controlled opponents. One of the key features of the game is the sophisticated AI which simulates the effect of playing against 3 other human players.

The Company also undertakes bespoke projects for clients utilising its particular areas of expertise.
